2019/009: New Signatory to the CMS Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation and Management of the Middle-European Population of the Great Bustard (Otis tarda)

The Secretariat of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in its capacity as Depositary of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Conservation and Management of the Middle-European Population of the Great Bustard (Otis tarda) – Great Bustard MOU, is pleased to announce that:

The Republic of Serbia signed the Great Bustard MOU on 10 April 2019 in Belgrade.

This brings the total number of Signatory States to 14. The Great Bustard MOU has been in effect since 1 June 2001.
